Abstract from Foresight net

First, the installed capacity of wind power connected to the grid continues to rise。

According to the statistics of the National Energy Administration, the cumulative grid-connected installed capacity of China''s wind power from 2016 to 2022 continued to rise, and the growth rate remained at a high level. By the end of 2021, China''s total installed capacity of wind power will reach 328 million kilowatts, including 302 million kilowatts of onshore wind power and 26.39 million kilowatts of offshore wind power. By the end of November 2022, the installed capacity of wind power reached 35.96 million kilowatts, an increase of 15.1% year-on-year.

Second, Guoneng Group ranks first in the world in terms of development scale.

According to the statistics of the Wind Energy Committee (CWEA), as of the end of 2021, the top 10 enterprises in China''s wind power development scale are mainly state-owned enterprises. Ranked first, Guoneng Group, which is currently the world''s largest wind power developer, in addition, Huaneng Group, Guodian Investment development scale are more than 30 million kilowatts.

Third, Inner Mongolia installed capacity first in the country。

Fan is the core equipment of wind farm power generation, from the cumulative installed capacity of various provinces and cities, as of November 2022, the country''s top ten installed wind power provinces are: Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Shandong, Gansu, Henan, Ningxia, Guangdong. Among them, Inner Mongolia ranked first in the country with 42.16 million kilowatts of installed capacity, and the top ten provinces accounted for 65% of the country''s installed wind power capacity.

From January to November 2022, China''s new grid-connected wind power installed capacity of 22.52 million dry watts, a year-on-year decrease of 218%, mainly in the fourth quarter of 2021 to grab the loading tide to pull up the installed capacity, while the market in 2022 is relatively stable. In 2022, Jilin, Gansu and Inner Mongolia will rank first in new grid-connected installations, with new installed capacity of more than 2.2 million kilowatts.

Fourth, wind turbine prices fluctuate lower.

According to the statistics of the North Star wind power grid, since 2003-2022, the price of wind turbines in China has shown a downward trend as a whole, and the price is    1500yuan /kw by 2022, which is less than 1/4 of that in 2003. The price decline is mainly due to the technological progress of the industry and the scale effect of increasing production capacity.

Fifth,The newly installed capacity of wind power will increase slightly.

GWEC estimates that in 2022-2027, China''s new wind power installed capacity will always account for more than 40% of the world''s new wind power installed capacity, and by 2026, China''s new wind power annual installed capacity will exceed 60GW, of which onshore wind power exceeds 50GW and offshore wind power exceeds 10GW. It is expected that in 2027, China''s new installed capacity of wind power will further increase to about 66GW, and the compound growth rate of new installed capacity from 2023 to 2027 will be about 5.64%.
