On November 1, the first batch of units of Huaneng Shangdu million-kilowatt wind power base were successfully connected to the grid. It is reported that the first batch of 57 wind turbines with a total capacity of 265,000 kilowatts were put into operation to generate electricity.
Huaneng Shangdu million-kilowatt wind power base is one of the first large-scale new energy base projects in China, and it is also the first base-type large-scale comprehensive energy project of Huaneng Group with "wind-fire storage" coupled power generation. The total installed capacity of wind power is 2 million kilowatts, of which 120 SANY heavy energy 5MW wind turbines will be installed.
Shangdu million million wind power base project is one of China''s first large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects and China''s first large-scale energy base project of wind and fire energy storage bundle delivery. The project created a national "wind and fire storage" bundled delivery, energy transformation.
In order to cope with the characteristics of the project in the region, such as covering a large area and dispersed stations, to ensure the smooth grid connection of long-distance and large-capacity wind farms, the base adopted the "six stations and five lines" method for the first time, and built a total of six booster stations, including five 220 kV booster stations, connected by five transmission lines to a 500 kV central booster gathering station, which was sent to the North China Power Grid after being boosted again. After the completion of the project, it can transmit 6.5 billion KWH of clean electricity to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan area every year, which is equivalent to reducing about 4 million tons of CO2.
